Discovery

What we found before writing a line of code — three observations that defined what this project would, and wouldn’t, become.

01

What it is

Overview

A privacy-first life OS that unifies finances, health, and personal documents in a single workspace.

Local-first storage, zero tracking, explicit consent for any external sync.

02

Why it matters

Challenge

People juggle their lives across a dozen apps that don't talk to each other and ship data to ad networks by default.

The cost of getting unified context today is giving up sovereignty over your own data.

03

What we built

Solution

A single workspace where finance, health, and document management share context without leaving the device unencrypted.

Designed so that the most private parts of someone's life can live in one place without becoming the next data breach.

Discovery

Why nothing on the market fit

Talked to people managing their finances, health records, and personal documents across an average of nine apps. Two things came up everywhere: nobody trusted the cloud-first apps with sensitive data after the third breach headline, but the local-first alternatives were either too technical or didn't unify the three domains. IMPERIVM started from that gap: privacy-first, but built for non-technical operators.
